The 1/4” has 20 threads per inch and is commonly referred to as 1/4 – 20, the 3/8” has 16 threads per inch and is referred to as 3/8 –16 and the 1/2” have 13 threads per inch and is referred to as 1/2 – 13. The threads of the lipped drop-in anchor are national coarse threads, measured by the number of threads per inch. The lipped drop-in anchor size refers to the inside diameter of the anchor or the thread size of the bolt or threaded rod that can be inserted into the lipped drop-in anchor.
